ACCOMMODATION

A number of guesthouses in Bonga and various other locations in Kafa provide pleasant places to sleep. 

The Kafa Development Association Guesthouse (tel. 0473310195) is run by an NGO by the same name and is located on the hillside above Bonga town.  This guesthouse has comfortable cottages including shared showers with toilets, kitchens, and breakfast.  It has great views over the rural landscape and can also arrange guides for the area.

Coffee Land Hotel is a newly established, privately owned hotel.  The hotel has 30 rooms, most with a private bathroom.  Coffee Land is located in the center of Bonga town.

Dani Hotel (tel. 0473310187) has 8 rooms with private bath and 4 rooms with shared facilities.  It is located on the main road from Jimma to Bonga town across from the secondary high school.  

The Wushwush Guesthouse (tel. 0471112979) is located off the main road from Bonga just past the village of Wushwush.  It provides guestrooms or camping places as well as a kitchen. 

The National Hotel (tel. 0473310051) in Bonga provides convenience by its proximity to the bus station but its accomodations are not Western standard however, its restaurant has been recommended. 

A few new hotels are being developed in the region so more options will soon be available.
